Loved the compact design. Perfect for a solo traveler working remotely with a laptop. The fold out desk with monitor is genius. Will bring an HDMI cord next time for the full experience.

The hotel is very well designed and in a fantastic location. Our room was a good size and had nice views. The service was excellent and everyone was very helpful, both in the hotel and the adjacent restaurant. Overall, we had a great stay. The only major complaint would be the firmness of the bed. The bed was very firm and uncomfortable, which I suppose matched the clean-line aesthetic, but did not allow for a good night's sleep.

The overall experience was great.

The hotel is very comfortable and the staff are polite and helpful. The rooms are clean and the restaurant area is beautiful. I highly recommend this hotel and will most definitely will use again

Stayed for 3 nights on what we thought a good deal. However, upon leaving we got lumped with a $30 per night “resort tax” that was well hidden both upon booking and check out (we are still awaiting an explanation of what this is from management, but had no call). Room was tiny and wasn’t cleaned well between nights (litter and dirty cups remained each day). Bed was tiny and had rubber or plastic undersheets which made for an uncomfortable sleep. Good rooftop bar with fantastic views though, a hidden gem. Finally the hotel is right next door to a homeless shelter which made for an uncomfortable walk to and from the entrance each day. Some fairly eccentric characters loitering right next to the front door all day. As a regular visitor to NYC I can say this is a good location to use as a base, but there are far, far better options available. Very disappointing.

The good: decor, food, and location. The bad: just about everything else. An elevator was out of order the whole 4 days I was there, so it took forever to go anywhere. My room was only partly cleaned most days. We ran out of toilet paper because it was never refilled. Service in the restaurant was slow and unprofessional. They told me they didn't have a table at the restaurant one evening for dinner when the place was about two-thirds empty and there was no special event going on. I had to get my own coffee refills at breakfast. Confusing/wrong signage to/from the bar. TV service cuts out regularly. Check in is at an automated machine, like at the airport. You have to make your own keys. The beds don't have top sheets, just a duvet, which is too warm and not terribly comfortable.

My Aunt and I had a girls’ weekend in NYC. We saw this new hotel advertised. It was very new and clean. The rooms weren’t tiny but also not big, pretty much what you expect from NY. I was very impressed with the service everyone was extremely helpful and nice! The 2 restaurants were very good! The only 2 drawbacks I would say is that the bathrooms have the frosty glass on the doors and you can see the person taking a shower through the frosty glass. Not the best if you are traveling with friends or Aunts. Also, the neighborhood can feel a bit unsafe at times but great shopping in just the next block.

Nice aesthetic and while small, still nice accommodations. The restaurant on the first floor had great food. The upstairs bar had nice views and both indoor/outdoor seating options. Seems like a small thing, but the absolute best part was they had water stations on each floor. Paying an arm and leg for bottled water in a hotel room or receiving a tiny bottle of water per night usually isn't enough to hydrate. Was really really great to have a clean water source available for free near the room.

We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and a visit with the family for Thanksgiving. Frankie, Henry and the staff of Floret made our stay enjoyable and special.

Place was like an oasis in the middle of the city. The entrance is tuck away from the street which is nice. The room was clean, cozy and spacious for the price. Would stay again.
