Nice Hosts We were a bit deceived by the photos we saw of this residence upon booking. The outside is exactly what you see. But inside is overrun by lots & lots of this n that in all the rooms. Too cluttered for our liking & being allergic to dust was an issue for my wife. There are two bedrooms with one having a bathroom in the room. There was very little space in this bedroom because there are old books, hats & tins everywhere even on the floor. The owners are great & the service was very good! They go out of their way to make your stay pleasant! The breakfasts were very tasty. Hand Sanitizer was available in the room.

The hosts are wonderful. The history of the house is interesting and the grounds are well maintained. There is a lot of pride in what they do and it shows. Will definitely stay again!

Great place.
The hosts were warm and readily available. Everthing was exceptionally clean. The breakfasts were much more than expected. I felt pampered. My trip was to visit family and destress. So glad Pratt Smith House was available. Wonderfully safe place for single traveler.

The country charm was nice. There were so many knick-knacks there was not enough room to put things down. The bed was comfortable and clean but a double is too small for us.

Alan and Anne are warm and wonderful hosts! Anne’s breakfasts are to die for! Clean, comfy room w/complimentary home made cookies and ice water! Eclectic decor adds to the charm of this stately house! 5*!

The House was built in 1813, I think. It is lovely. The collections are very amazing.The Breakfast meals presentation were outstanding. They were very tasty and filling.
