Convention Center Corp Rentals by NamaStay

This apartment was a great deal! We were able to stay 7 days to see the historic Washington DC area. The location was good and very nice. One thing we did notice was the windows needed blackout drapes as the morning sun was shining bright and early! Overall, a really nice little apartment.

This was a disappointing experience. First, the check-in experience was a hassle. The keys in my lockbox was for a different unit. I thought it was a typo in the email, so I went to the unit indicated on the key fob, unpacked & headed out to dinner. I sent an email asking for the correct Wi-Fi info & was told that I needed to return to the unit & swap to the correct unit. This whole ordeal took 3 hours to resolve. The new unit was not as nice or as clean, but suitable...until I noticed the smell of cigarettes & the nonstop barking dogs. One of the neighbors is a smoker & the smoke wafts into the unit. There is also a rooftop doggie daycare 3 buildings over which means the dog barking doesn't stop. The sheets were damp, so I stripped the bed and washed them while I finally made it out for dinner. The half a roll of toilet paper lasted through Tuesday, so I asked if I could receive more toilet paper & was asked to check the supply closet & when none was available I was told to go buy some & they would reimburse me (How? I had prepaid). So after spending the whole day working I had to head out to the nearest store and buy toilet paper. When check out finally arrived they asked me to start the laundry process & run the dishwasher. I'm a paying guest. There's no reason for me to be stocking supplies and cleaning. Also, they gave me the wrong code for the lockbox, thus delaying check out & causing me to run late to my final meeting of the trip. I'll set stay here again.

Amazing spot, extremely convenient location and great value vs a hotel if travelling with family or friends.

It was good stay overall however the only issue was I had to experience was since it's an apartment you cannot keep your luggage beyond check out which normally is allowed in hotels

The property was in a good location, spacious, and with easy access to metro, restaurants and a supermarket. However, the check-in experience was very bad. I did not receive the check-in instruction and needed to contact the property's administration and hotels.com to get the details, which had taken us almost an hour before getting into the property. Towels in the property were a bit damp and there were towels in the washer as well.
