Hôtel d'Angleterre

Inside Avignon's ancient city walls, it's close to everything. Parking is behind and secure. I don't recognize title picture from where we stayed. It's a city 4 story row building. Staff is helpful and friendly. Our room was small, bathrooms need updating. Express breakfast croissant and coffee or larger choices, can be bought in nice inside dinning area.

The bed was uncomfortable. The room too small. Only bonus was secure parking and location of the hotel.

Perfectly good hotel for our needs. Great location, Staff friendly and efficient. Good breakfast. Air con could have been more efficient and quieter and a garden area (taken up by admittedly useful car park) would have been great.

The best thing was the parking. Right behind our hotel and very convenient. The room was adequate, but there was no way to shower. You had to use the tub with the spray attachment. The worst thing was the wi-fi which hardly ever worked and the attitude of most of the staff. They were not helpful.

Older style hotel but did have free parking. Only a hand held shower rose, and so have to sit in a bath to use. Very difficult if you are very tall, like my partner, who does not really fit into a bath.
