Stay at our peaceful, family run beachside studios enjoying fabulous sunsets!

Diona ( beachside studios) has a fabulous location, just yards from the beach and all the studios have balcony facing the sea, so you can breakfast on the balcony, listening to the waves. It was lovely and clean and the owners had left a welcome pack, tea,coffee, milk cereal etc so I didn't have to go and shop when I arrived late evening. Lovely lady who looks after the studio, came midweek with fresh sheets and towels, and to empty trash bins. There is a fridge, small cooking job and a sandwich toaster, so everything you need for breakfast or snacks. Lots of lovely little taverns along the beach front for dinner and little very well stocked mini market all within short walk. Peacful, quiet and sunny. Great relaxing holiday

We have just spent a week (end of May/beg June) in Lourdata at the Beachside Studios. This is a very quiet, but charming location with a beach on your doorstep and a choice of tavernas overlooking the water. Our first floor studio apartment was beautifully clean ( sheets were changed twice in one week’s stay) and although basic had all the amenities we needed. We took a kettle and hairdryer Whixh was unnecessary as these are provided plus a toasted sandwich maker which we used to make toast ( had perfected our technique by the end of our stay)! There is a useful washing line on each balcony plus some pegs. Beautiful view over Diona’s allotment and the sea. We hired a car for about five days so we could explore some of the Island. We walked up the hill ( it is steep but we fancied a walk) where the car hire firms are located. Some of the firms will deliver cars if you phone or book online. I would recommend using a car if you want to get around as the bus service is limited. If you want to chill out, read and use a quiet beach ( which it was when we were there) then Lourdata is perfect for that. We walked to the next beach which took about 50 mins ( again uphill) which is a good day out for the more active holidaymaker. Kefalonia has a unique personality, less busy than some of the other Greek islands so if you’re looking for lots of nightlife I suspect this won’t tick that box. What was lovely was how simple and stress- free the whole process was. Graham ( who deals with the U.K. bookings) was extremely helpful and arranged a car to pick us up ( no charge) and also a taxi to take us back to the airport. No hanging around for transfer buses etc - our flights were very late so this was really appreciated. I bought a book called ‘Walking and Eating in Kefalonia’ by Brian and Eileen Anderson before we went and found it really useful - managed to buy a 2nd hand copy from Amazon for under £5.

Fantastic location overlooking a beautiful beach. Very quiet with just a few taverns and a small mini market. Limited bus service so we hired a car to explore this beautiful island. Diona the owner doesnt speak much English but always has a cheerful smile ! Highly recommend if you just want a basic studio in fantastic position: sitting on the balcony watching and listening to the sea is best way to start the day.

Basic apartment, but had everything we needed if not more. Diona was very helpful at all times and quickly resolved our problem with the shower head. A lovely grocery welcome pack was available for us in the apartment which was great as we could start the holiday immediately with out looking for a shop first. Transfer was arranged for us at no cost. Very nice holiday with great range of restaruants and bars, we slso hired a boat for the day would stay again but would have a car so we could explore more of the beautiful island.
