Blue Oak

We loved staying at Blue Oak. The apartment was great and the location is perfect for sightseeing. The on-site restaurant is really handy and the staff were great. Positives: There’s loads of storage space for clothes. As a whole very clean and modern inside. Literally within walking distance to most attractions. Netflix on TV (you need your own login details) WiFi The only negatives we had were: The beds were not made very well. The soap dispenser in the bathroom on the sink was caked in dust. Some fluff on the pillows and sheets. The shower is a hand held one, as it’s not high enough on the wall for you to wash your hair without taking it off and holding it by hand. The steps leading up to the apartment were very steep. So if you have mobility issues I would suggest asking for a lower level apartment. The pull out sofa bed was in the same room as the master bed. Not an issue for us as we only used it as a sofa. But something to be mindful of if more than two people are staying and you wanted some privacy. We would definitely stay again though. The negatives for us were very minor. The positives far outweighed any negatives.

Great location, lovely service. Clean and comfortable

Still a lot work to do here, not finished breakfast service was a little downer, but the rooms are newly furnished, all equipment in kitchenette in place, beds are very comfortable. helpful staff, close to tram line, Starbucks etc. the stay was just supergood, thanks !

The staff answered all of our questions before we arrived and could have not been more helpful. Check in was easy as we did this online before we arrived. It seemed all rooms had steps leading to them and some rooms also had steps within them. A separately operated Café / Restaurant adjoins the hotel which can be used for breakfast / lunch / dinner. Avoid using the local mini marts prices are unbelievable. A small supermarket does exist close to Charles Bridge which is at least 60% cheaper and a Tesco is located just behind the National Theatre. Could not the hotel and would happily stay again.

We stayed at Blue Oak for two nights in August 2018 and would definitely consider them again if staying in Prague. We found it to be a very convenient location for getting to the Prague Castle and allowed us to discover some nice spots on the west side of the Vltava river. The room had a kitchen area and larger mini fridge than other hotels we considered and it was definitely appreciated after traveling for 10 days. While our room didn't face the nice courtyard featured at the hotel, we did have a nice view of the nearby St. Nicholas church. Our only issue was with a shower that made it difficult for someone of my height (6'1'') to shower comfortably. The staff was nice and helpful throughout our stay, even booking a cab for us to get to the airport after checking out.
