Casa Nostra

Nice boutique hotel with very helpful and friendly staff. Our room had street exposure; although a small street there are vendors starting preparations from 5:30am onwards. Our room was also close to the reception (it’s a small place!). Strongly recommend to get a room with courtyard exposure. The people/ staff at this place are truly lovely!

The staff was outstanding, particularly Alfredo, who came out to meet and escort us to the property. Rooms were newly refurbished , with very nice common areas. Location was excellent with easy access to popular areas.

Awesome! I've seen reviews where people felt unsafe in the neighborhood. The neighborhood is fine. We never felt unsafe. Some of it reminded me of NYC 1982. The best part of Casa Nostra is the team: Fabrizio, Lumi, Rosie, and Alfredo. They work hard and are so helpful. Fabrizio speaks perfect English. He arranged for us to be picked up at the airport, and arranged a taxi to the train station at checkout. We had the Capo room on the fourth floor. I'm quite fit now. Lol. We flipped over Palermo. What a town! We will be back🇮🇹❤️

Located at proximity to cathedral and Teatro Massimo, you can walk everywhere from the hotel. The room were large enough and had a nice bathroom. The people who took care of us were very nice and friendly.

Right in the heart of Palermo. A few steps but the room, location and welcome and breakfast awesome. Shame we couldn’t eat eat more of the breakfast to do it justice

Alfredo was wonderful when we checked in. He also gave us a lot of points on where to go, etc. The only negative was the noise from the market below. Alfredo also helped a LOT when the airline lost our luggage. We got it delivered the next day.

This NOT a hotel. As noted, there is no front desk. It appears the owner has four accommodations to let. Tw on rye third floor and two on the fourth. Each pair of rooms is served by a common breakfast roo,. Our room was on the fourth floor. I counted 64 stairs to climb up with our luggage; no lift. The bed was a type of memory foam, somewhat comfortable, except that with no center support you may roll toward the middle. Very nice, updated bathroom. Towels were only replaced upon our request. When using the shower, it sprayed onto the floor no matter how we tried to set it. Breakfast was very inconsistent. The first day the hostess/housekeeper cooked eggs in addition to an array of baked goods including cannoli as well as fresh fruits, yogurts, cereal, meats, cheese and toast. The second day, hard boiled eggs instead of cooked. The third and fourth days, no eggs at all and fewer baked goods. The house kihe first two days was easy to communicate with in Englis. The next two days, a different person who knew very little English. The rooms are nicely updated in an old building with a restaurant downstairs, where loud music is simetimes played. Also, the markets are right below on the street and if the window is open it can be noisy, but interesting to watch from the balcony.
