Nobu Hotel Shoreditch

Nobu was sparkling clean in terms of the hotel room and lobby. The food in the lobby is really good too -- I got breakfast a couple times and it was very clean in terms of ingredients. The building seems really new and it has a feel like you're staying in a yacht just because of the shape and stuff. My only issue with the room was that there were no power outlets hardly anywhere. None in the bathroom so I had to blowdry and straighten my hair in the hallway of the room. The bathroom was great though -- felt very Grecian with the white shower and decor. Bathrobe and turn-down service was a nice touch too. Bed was super comfy. Not much to watch on TV but not a deal breaker. There was also no nice view from the window of my room, just overgrown weeds and some graffiti. If I were to choose though I'd try another hotel in the area next time just to have a bigger room and better situation with getting ready in the morning. There was also construction going on on the roof which my husband said he heard (trash being dumped etc) though I didn't hear it. The area though is really cool with all the hipster restaurants/pubs and my job was a 10 min walk so I can't complain. Tube stop was about a 6 min walk away too so overall it was a good stay experience.

Room is always nice and clean, the bed is a little hard but I give this hotel a 5star.

The service was incredible. All the staff very friendly, especially Michael the concierge.

The room was very nice, albeit very dark (but it's part of the aesthetic) and perfectly quiet. Service was very much on point as well. Soothing.

WiFi connection was HORRIBLE. My spouse and I couldn’t even be online at the same time. First floor rooms are rather loud, the employee service area is on that floor so we were woken up several times around 4 am from the noise. Also, not sure what is under our room but we could hear people pound and clear when we were in the bathroom through the shower drain. Rooms are very clean & well designed. Location is excellent.
