Sporthotel Schoenau am Koenigssee

Very clean quiet inexpensive cozy and relaxing. I would stay again in a heart beat.

The hotel was in a nice location, of course you can get there easyly if you are driving. Rooms are small, washrooms good size, breakfast was very good.

Nice cozy hotel, clean room, nice english speaking staff, Great food block away, great breakfast, Wonderful view.

Check in was quick and easy. We had a balcony, the other room not. Small room but it worked-full of Bavarian charm. There is a bar, for a drink that is open until 10 PM. We had our laundry done for a small price. Great location for exploring the area. Breakfast was nice, repeatative. There is prosecco, which I haven't seen in Germany. We ate down the road at the German restaurant. I also thought it was strange to tell people not to eat at a certain Italian restaurant, especially when it is next door? Overall, a quaint inn with a great view.

Excellent hotel and amazing breakfast. Check in was easy and pleasant. Only 2 hold backs was there was no elevator and we were on the 3rd floor, and we didn't see any swiss brown cows (refer to the pictures ;). Beautiful area and close to Konigsee.

Unfriendly staff, very old and dated hotel. No restaurant and for sure not Sports Hotel (very misleading).

It's an excellent, comfortable, clean, nice and wonderful hotel in Schöenau, close to Lake Koenigssee and Berchtesgaden. The owners and staff are very friendly, the breakfast fantastic, the views of the surrounding mountains are amazing, it's close to restaurants and shops. The best option in town definitely.

Reasonable cost, breakfast included, good parking. A bit far out, but with a car quite central to hiking, the lake and Berchtesgade. Bed too short for me(1.80m).

I'm used to staying at Hilton's for business. This is an older hotel that has been kept up. My rating my be a little higher than others but they did provide a clean comfortable room with a great continental breakfast for our stay. The rooms are not big and the bathrooms are even smaller, but it worked for us. The towels are soft and we got a good night's sleep. The staff did not speak much English There is a pizza restaurant right next door and a German restaurant 100m down the road which had great food at reasonable prices. The locals ate there and we did too. .
