DoubleTree by Hilton New York Times Square West

The view was amazing, but the room was very small. It was hard to find a place to have our luggage. If we had two big bags, it wouldn't be place for them. The room should be for 1 person and not 2. We received time frames on when the elevator was the busiest, that was the first time. Every hotel should do this.

Everything was good except when you call for room service, like new batteries for your tv remote, they never showed up.

The service and particularly the bellman Carlos, were excellent. The buffet was nice. The location was convenient. The room however was not consumer oriented. The lighting in the bedroom section was not adequate and therefore lacking. The bathroom had nowhere to hang towels. Therefore it was not possible to reuse them. Even the hand towel used at the sink did not have a place to hang. The water from the shower leaked onto the floor resulting in the floor 'mat' being soaked.

They refused to give us plates and spoons to eat our food in the room
