Restaurant downstairs has a deck with a beautiful view of the river. Room is small but tasteful and the river can also be seen from the window.

Last minute decision
Was a last minute decision to travel this far. We were pleasantly surprised with the room and the restaurant. Great location. Quiet place and comfortable. Very nice continental breakfast. Goid service.

Nice stay at Salmon River Country Inn
The Salmon River Country Inn has very friendly staff. Quick check-in, check-out. I was very impressed in the way they accommodated me for their complimentary breakfast. I have gluten and dairy allergies and they had a dedicated gluten-free toaster, gluten-free bread & cereal, coconut milk...very nice.The room was very clean, a little small but comfortable.

Quiet Getaway with Great Services
My husband and I greatly enjoyed the B &B. The service was terrific, the area was calm and quiet, and the B&B's choice of indoor or outdoor dining was just what we needed. The free breakfast was also a definite plus. We would definitely stay there again.

Margrit was such a sweet lady, anything you needed she saw to getting it for you, made you feel at home. Restaruant staff need more knowledge of area but we're very friendly and down to earth people. The Inn was peaceful surroundings, quaint rooms. The only disappointment was the upkeep on the grounds

What a wonderful place and Margarit was a doll! Rest of the staff wonderful and helpful. The German food was delicious at the restaurant in the inn (The Mermaid Eatery). The pase spaetzle, bratwurst, apple sauerkraut all wonderful! It is very slow to get food but we weren't in any hurry so we didn't mind. Room was a bit small but we expected that (inn rooms often are). But clean and comfortable. Nice breakfast in morning with homemade breads, meats, and cheeses.

Everything was great except the breakfast, where the for was on the counter and just wondering how long it was there. Eg: Yogurt on counter and meats and cheese in the tray. I would suggest that they put a ice tray underneath to keep food cold. Eside that everything was OK.
