Glory Guest Suites, Downtown Moncton

We had to pay in advance before we were shown our suite. Although we reserved a 2 bedroom suite with full kitchen we were given two separate rental rooms with a kitchen that was shared with a 3rd rental room. The rooms, bath and kitchen were old and musty. The owner gave us pieces of plywood to place over the floor heat registers if it became too warm through the night. The neighbourhood is downright sketchy. We decided we could not stay so we found another place. When we returned the keys the next morning the main door was unlocked and a stranger was leaving the suite. Presumably he occupied the 3rd room. The owner promised to refund our money but she has since reneged. I have no doubt the owner will respond with a personal attack. Regardless, my advice is 'do not stay at Glory Guest Suites, Moncton.'

Smoking allowed next door smell of smoke very annoying for a non smoker just be mentioned beforehand!

The owner did not give us the room we paid for... she instead gave us a room in the same house she lives in (as i presume they either did not want to heat the guest suite house or she wanted to be able to spy on us as shes extremely nosey) with NO ensuite bathroom. It ruined my stay. I do not want to have to share a bathroom when i reserved a room with an ensuite. She also is really inappropriate with her questions....and intrusive Its apparent why theres never anyone there

My first impression is unbelievable low price in Moncton downtown center. The room is very clean, with all necessary amenity, especially the HI Speed internet, so faster just like using at home. All towels and bed sheets are clean and new, Generally speaking, it is very good service compared to star hotel.

Lovely garden and proprietor very kind. I would stay there again.

Never go there. Do not recommend. The room stinks. The owners barely spoke english.

The room was very comfortable, and the furniture and decor had a Victorian Inn feeling.

The Glory Inn Suites is a mom and pop owned bed and breakfast for a relatively low price to other, bigger hotels. The owners are very talkative and happy to have you though there is a slight language barrier with their chinese accents. The room that we were given had a shared kitchen with a bedroom and batheoom to ourselves behind a door we could lock. The room itself is quite clean with a tv with limited channel selection and a beautiful garden view. The batheoom however could have been a bit cleaner. The sink had some grime that would easily come off with a rag and the shower had a layer of dust and mold around the base of the sliding door. The sheets and carpet were clean but did have some visible stains. Overall I'm satisfied with my stay and would return for another night if I find myself in Moncton again.

Pleasant owners, everything is in walking distance, kitchen has fridge, microwave, etc...

When I booked and submitted my credit card information, I was notified by Hotels.com that the place was full. I then booked another room next door (same owners) and got a room. However, I received confirmation from Hotels.com for both bookings. Luckily it was sorted out because I was dealing with the same owners. If I went elsewhere, I would have been dinged for the first booking. Black eye for Hotels.com on this booking.
