The Hi-Lo, Autograph Collection

Great service and rep in front, rooms were very clean and even had heated floors. Only complain I could see is lack of cabinetry to store clothes, but either than, place is awesome.

The entire staff was terrific. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The room was huge and clean. We had breakfast downstairs at CraftPDX every morning and the food was top notch. All ingredients were fresh cooked to perfection. We had a 1 year old during our stay and everyone was very accomadating. The only complaint I would have is the room wasn't very sound proof. We could hear our next door neighbor through the connecting doors as well as people outside. If you get a room facing the main street, you will hear all the cars with loud exhausts driving by.

The staff was great. From the moment you walk in and leave for the day they were all very welcoming and genuinely friendly. My review is for my personal experience of the rooms. We booked a deluxe king and was expecting a ‘city view’ based on their website’s description, as was as on hotels.com. Premium king rooms are noted to be on higher floors but that wasn’t important to us so we booked a deluxe. However, we were placed in an interior facing room on a high floor and was told it was considered a deluxe room. Let me just say that I wasn’t expecting the interior view to look so bad. I just kept the curtains closed the whole time. The room was clean but cold. Turns out after staying my first night and freezing through the night, I realized the room never got warmer even when I turned the heater up all the way. Called front desk and they seemed to be aware of the heat situation but the lady I spoke to was very nice and offered to switch my room right away, but not before offering a portable heater first. The room I was switched into had a layout of the regular king room but I was told that it was still considered a deluxe. At that point I didn’t want to ‘be that person’ so I let it go. At least the room was warm. Anyway just be weary of booking a deluxe room expecting a city view because the description is misleading and inaccurate. Although the staff was nice, it’s not enough for me to want to stay here again. The beds and pillows were not that comfortable.

Amazing hotel and impeccable staff. Stayed for anniversary and received an upgrade to junior suite which was well appointments and great layout. A must stay hotel.

Excellent- everything was as expected or better. Probably the best hotel we have stayed at in a long time.

Hallway consistently smelled like weed. This was our second stay & we were excited to have an experience like we did last May with our friends, but we’ll be going somewhere else next time we’re in portland. Also not sure if the doorman ever tried to get the door for us.

The hotel itself if very nice, the staff (front desk and at the restaurant) were amazing. I’ve never met nicer workers than the ones at the Hi-Lo. The room was a good size and very clean. My only minor complaint is that the bathroom sink could be a little bigger to fit toiletries and that the AC wouldn’t go lower than 67. Overall a great hotel, would definitely stay there again

We have stayed here before. Again wonderful.
