The sheets and pillowcases smelt weird and there were hairs all over. I dont think the bedding was washed, thankfully I had my sleeping bag.

its a motel, not a hotel. lower expectations. disappointing part was having to wait extended period of time when arrived from 4hour drive to wait while receptioninst was on phone for a long conversation.

Bed was a bit firm. Pillow flat bring your own. Our room was tiny. Single with a double bed bathroom small but acceptable. Had a bar fridge..tv.. microwave..wish it had a coffee maker but didn't. Good location for us. Friendly check in.

Virtually no staff. If you have electronics bring extra electrical equip as plugs ins are not located very well and some don't work. Thankfully, we brought our own coffee pot. I'd rather take my chances on an Air B&B for what we paid for this dive!!

Family reunion trip
We had ordered the room online during our breakfast while we were still in the Halifax area. The motel was in the Quebec City area so had no way to know if the website was truthful. We had ordered a family room as we had 3 adults and one child therefore wanted 3 beds and room for a portable baby crib. It seemed on the website that there was a room fitting this requirement. When we arrived later that night (10pm) we were happy to arrive. The look of the motel was what we had seen online. When we checked in the attendant was unable to speak much English therefore we had difficulty as we speak no French. The room was just a queen with a single and the family room we ordered was already given to another family as we arrived after 10 but before the cut off of 11pm. This meant that we had to bunk together (two sisters, daughter in law and infant). The room itself was clean, no odour and no bed bugs so we were pleased with that. The room had an air conditioner but wasn’t turned on before our arrival so the room was hot. The beds were comfortable although there weren’t enough towels for the number of people in the unit. There was no TV remote control so we were unable to watch any tv. When we called to ask for one the language barrier was a challenge but we’re told many have been stolen so relaxing after a long 12 hour drive was not available to us. Overall it was an okay experience but language barriers and booking challenges made the stay less than positive. Hotels.com needs work
