Hotel Deutsches Haus

An amazing old hotel built in 1440 but tastefully renovated to incorporate the old with the new. Extremely helpful staff. Great restaurant in the hotel. A real secret for the price.

The location was fantastic and rooms were delightfully modern for such a historic building. A special mention should go to the waiting staff at breakfast.

This is my second time staying at this property and thoroughly enjoy it. The room is roomy and very clean. Great in house restaurant for dinner and breakfast.

I had a very nice stay for business. The hotel owners were incredibly friendly and service oriented. I saw both a very nice room and a very basic room and both are very nice and well worth the cost. Breakfast in the morning is good and the service is very nice. Fried eggs are ALWAYS overcooked! Dinner and beer in the hotel restaurant are excellent, if not a little pricey compared to the area. Everyone speaks excellent English and goes out of their way to help in every way. You can tell this is a family business as it just has so much charm and they really care.

A striking old house in the centre of town. The dining room has a painted ceiling, lots of wood everywhere. The bedroom was large with a beautiful en-suite. There is a dining area outside and you can sit and watch the world go by. The staff were outstanding - nothing was too much trouble The food was of an extremely high standard and beautifully presented Having travelled most of the world, I would rate this hotel as one of the very bast I have visited

Exquisite inn with old world atmosphere. Hospitable employees. Beautiful ancient wall and ceiling paintings in dining room. Spacious comfortable immaculate rooms. Great location in a fairy tale village.

Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and it was wonderful. Room and bathroom was clean and spacious. Bed was comfortable. The staffs were friendly. Breakfast was great. Not a wide variety that you may find at a hyatt but food is fresh. Fresh baked croissants and variety of breads, meat cold cut selection, smoked salmon, yogurts and cereal and made to order eggs. The best part of breakfast is the server. The lady is just accommodating and personable. I would definitely come back.

Top quality hotel built in 1460, family owned and operated. Beautiful room, spacious & very comfortable bed. Our first choice when passing through Dinkelsbühl.

Hotel is right in the middle of town, centrally located. Historic building dating back to the 1400’s. During the day only one hour parking allowed inside the city wall. Hotel does offer valet parking for a daily fee. Room was a little disappointing. Third floor, steep stairs, no elevator. Bathroom needed improvement. Awkward arrangement with the shower in the tub and no shower curtain. Floor gets wet and slippery. Breakfast was good and the hotel restaurant perhaps the best in Dinkelsbuhl.
