Hotel Pension Haydn

Good location, friendly, affordable.

It was my second time at Pension Haydn and it was consistent with my experience of the first visit. Love the quiet area, the cleanliness of the room, the welcoming personnel and the breakfast. Plentiful, one cannot go walk around hungry! I recommend it and will certainly return on my next visit to Munich.

The pension is located in a quite neighborhood, 2 subway stop from the center. There are shops and groceries nearby. The rooms are large and clean. Breakfast is ample. Check-in is fast and no fuss.

My room was extremely small and you share a bathroom and shower with the rest of the floor. But neither was often busy when I needed it. You do get a sink in your room and a TV. There is wifi you can pay for. Breakfast is freshly prepared for you -- German style meat and cheese on bread, fruit, cereal, yogurt, and such. The hotel is convenient to the Goetheplatz Ubahn station and the Theriesenwiese fairgrounds. There is a movie theater and restaurants on the street. Catholic, evangelical Christian, and Mormon churches (maybe more) within easy walking distance. So if you know what your are getting into,it is a decent place. But don't expect a spacious room.

The room was clean but a little dated decor. The breakfast was surprisingly good. Overall, a good value for the price.
