Hotel Sauerlacher Post

Room has a king size bed and a king size sofa bed. Moderately comfortable. The room was spacious and had a small ante room with closet. Breakfast was varied, with hot sausages, scrambled eggs, pancakes and various yogurts, cheeses and meats. I would stay there again.

Excellent location and close to public transportation.

Good value for your money. Quality of the room was excellent. Nice restaurant attached to hotel not to mention the hotel’s breakfast was also very good.

Before you go to Munich, EVERYONE look up where the airport is. The airport is not near the city itself at all nor is it near this hotel. Sauerloch is a 35 minute slow train ride away from Munich proper and it's not even a nice ride. I booked this hotel seeing other reviews said they allowed early check-in. This was not our experience. Everything in the hotel warns about last minute scheduling (i.e. - taxis probably will not take you to the airport, which is easily 2 hours away on weekends.) The breakfast is so so and everything is exacerbated by the annoyed woman at the front desk. Wi-fi stinks as well.

Very comfortable beds. Soft sheets. I stayed in a JR suite.

Was there for 2 nights for Oktoberfest. We had a apartment, which was quite roomy and included a small kitchen and fridge. Across the street is a grocery store...and the train station is about a 5 minute walk. Munich is approx 35 minutes away. The town of Sauerlach was pretty quiet....but that’s not a bad thing. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.

The staff were questionably friendly in the evening but the morning person was pleasant. Other than that, it was magnificent. It’s in a great location close to the train station to get in to Munich, the room was spacious and beautiful, it is across the street from a grocery store and gas station, and very clean and high tech.

The building and rooms are too hot . They need to have fans in rooms. Very very hot and even when window is full open , never cools off .

Good size room and bath. For family of 4. We used hotel on the way from Munich to Florence

People were friendly but internet was terrible and husband couldn’t download work he needed to do. Food was ok. Room crowded. Bathroom was huge. Lots of noise before 8 am! Leave blower, cleaning carts? People.did give us a days free breakfast for internet troubles though.
