Hyatt Centric The Loop Chicago

Everyone working the front desk at this hotel was beyond helpful. Gave us local food recommendations and helped with directions. The rooms were very clean and cozy. Had the best nights sleep I have ever had, the bed was like sleeping on a cloud.

Clean, comfy, modern!

I was in Room 808, a wheelchair accessible room (though I’m not in a wheelchair). There were two full walls of windows with gauzy window shades and blackout blinds. There was a handy button control system that raised or lowered all blinds at the same time. The room was not huge but was comfortable and clean. I would gladly stay there again. I had minimal contact with the staff but every encounter was professional. I was in town to see the Art Institute and Hamilton. The show was literally down the block and I could see the marquee from my room. The Art Institute and the subways were within easy walking distance. I took the subway to and from O’Hare with no issues. The only thing of note was that the room documentation says they have some room service options late at night but they don’t have anything after the restaurant closes. You have to order delivery from an outside restaurant instead.

I had a nice big corner room. Amenities were fine however bed and pillows were totally uncomfortable. I also didn’t care for the fact that they had a note that they change the bedding only every three days, and in between guests. I felt like I didn’t get the benefit of fresh bedding because the sheets and comforter were not very neat when I arrived. Restaurant that is connected is way overpriced; simple glass of red wine was $18. Hotel staff were very nice.

Convenient walk to many things. Subway stations close by also. Blue line from O’Hare to one block away from hotel. oof top bar nice place to unwind.
