Motel 6 San Diego, CA - North

For what you pay this motel is decent! I’d love to see some updates like fixing the shower curtain rods and ridding of the cigarette smell by making a designated smoking area 20 feet away from the motel, just little changes would really class the place up. But over all this is pretty clean place and has decent rooms, the service is amazing all the staff are super nice to me!

Cindy was fantastic when we checked in and was very helpful and gave us a great rate on extended reservations we completed once we confirmed availability with her directly! She went above and beyond our expectations and was super friendly and sincere!

Checked in not enough towels and washcloths foe two day. Before I left for surgery I asked the front desk to bring enough wash rags and towels for two days and please get hot water in sink. Desk clerk assured me it would be taken care of. When I got back to room at 11:20 none of my concerns were addressed. In extreme pain after my surgery I had to go downstairs to get the towels and washcloths I needed. Since this was dental surgery it was imperative I have hot water in the sink that I did not have for two days. The Last hotel night I called down for a wake up call and no one would answer the phone. Nor did they apply the motel 6 discount coupon.

Just another trip to motel 6

The sink was not working properly and the water was not draining until after a while. This is very gross and nasty. I did not receive the vaule that I paid for. I will never stay at another Motel 6 again and i do not recommend it.

Clean room, cold AC, friendly front desk, decent bed. Extremely seedy people and drug activity, thin walls, I didn’t feel safe at all.

Bathtub was dirty and had a crack down the middle the water pressure in the sink was terrible. Room was stale, had dog smell in it and stuffy. Curtin was worn. The bed had a dent in one side as if a larger person was sitting in that one spot for a loonng time. All in all will not be staying here again. The front desk agent was very nice that was the only good thing.

It was ok, the bathroom door was damaged and the bathroom could have been a bit cleaner. Overall it was ok

Bathroom dirty. Sink was leaking and wet all my stuff that was on the floor. No table or anywhere to put your clothes on.

The issue with the property was guests standing outside their rooms and smoking. They are technically not in their rooms but both the original room and the second room had a vague smoke smell due to this. The guest in the room next to ours was smoking right outside so when I opened my door the smoke came right in. This needs to be policed better for a more pleasant stay.
