Great value for money
Positioned in a quiet part of Puerta de la Cruz, yet close enough to walk to all the local amenities, Hotel Sun Holidays is a fabulous place to stay for those on a tight budget. Friendly service from the moment you arrive, bed was really comfy and the bar / cafeteria just behind the hotel was simply perfect for a coffee and croissant in a morning as well as an evening beer. The only slight niggle was the water pressure on the 3rd floor was fairly weak and the room over the coming months could possibly do with being modernised but that all said I thoroughly enjoyed my 2 nights there and would not hesitate to return.

It was clean, had a balcony and ensuite bathroom and it’s location in the old part of the town near the centre and a short walk to Playa Jardin beach made it a very good choice. The staff were excellent and very helpful in telling us the best restaurants.

Perfect for independent travel/exploration
Excellent value for the money. Great helpful service. I booked to attend the Tenerife Walking Festival, and this was perfect for me. Does not pretend to be luxurious, but great value and quiet location near pedestrian area was perfect for me. Guests need to arrange food (breakfast etc.) but with a multitude of cafés and restaurants around the corner it encourages the guests to explore the different eateries. Great if you do not need your hand held (...i.e. not all inclusive etc.) The hotel website was true in its description with no embellishment to the service/description.

I have no idea why this is a one star hotel. It is in an excellent location close to the centre of town. The rooms are spacious, clean and very comfortable. There is a balcony with each room and on the roof there is an area for relaxing in the sun. Cleaners came in everyday and were very good. I would definitely stay here again. There is no bar/restaurant or breakfast options but there is a coffee and snacks/drinks machine, not really an issue as there are plenty of restaurants and cafes close by.

In local area close to central plaza stores close by. Staff spoke English and helpful in giving directions. No parking on site, but free parking about 10 minutes walk from hotel

Todo fue excelente para el precio...fue muy economico.. Muy limpia con WiFi excelente. El hotel merece mas que una estrella. Volveremos pronto. la situacion es cerca a restaurantes, bares , tiendas y una playa pequena. Hay un solarium grande con hamacas y aparcamiento gratis cinco minutes de hotel
