Very pleasant hotel near Central Park
Fantastic hotel in a great location. Well taken care of and great amenities, including full breakfast and evening drink and snacks included in hotel fee.

Lovely hotel, family friendly, luxurious and comfortable, perfect location. Cant beat the wonderful breakfast buffet and happy hour as well.

Excellent but not exceptional.
The WestHouse is centrally located and ideal as a base for sightseeing around New York. It is well positioned just a short walk from Times Square and has a subway station on the corner of the block. It is clean, the bed was very comfortable and the staff are mostly very helpful. All told, this was exactly what I would have expected for a hotel in this price bracket - excellent but not exceptional. The breakfast buffet was reasonable and the evening cocktail reception was an unexpected but nice addition to our stay with a decent choice of food and beverages on offer. I am also always a little disappointed by hotels that charge a "resort fee" - I assume this is in order to make the price seem lower than it really is. It's not hidden at all, but it does leave you with a feeling of disappointment. I would recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a base for a short New York break.

Lovely unexpected stay
I was stuck in the city due to weather and was grateful to find a beautiful, comfortable room at this hotel last minute. They were very gracious and hospitable. My only negative was one I saw coming - a wooden ledge in the narrow hallway by the bath that is the same color as the dark flooring. In the wee hours I crashed into it in the dark and still have a nasty bruise as a souvenir.

Fantastic Boutique Hotel
Fantastic experience. Room was comfortable. Breakfast had a complete spread. Something for everyone. The light (heavy - more like dinner) bites which included wine, champagne, beer, soft drinks, coffee and water in the evenings, served in a beautiful area on the 23rd floor and Terrance (which on our visit was not open due to outside renovations) was a great time to relax and could be your dinner. Choices vary nightly but always include charcuterie items.
