Good pleasant hotel

We are a couple of bikers who do a lot of touring and this pub really suits us as its welcoming to bikers who may arrive as we have on a few occasions wet through. Parking is good and safe which is a bonus. Great Pub / Hotel in a good location with nice helpful friendly staff. The pub has good beer and a collection of good wines and spirits, traditional food with good service. We like the meals here which we have in the evenings. The breakfast is very good as well if you choose to stay over. The pub it's self has a good atmosphere and is in not too bad a condition but the rooms although very clean do need decorating. The rooms have sky tv and Internet. The staff are happy people which really helps we having been in places were staff have no motivation and seem unhappy, The bedrooms are according to staff being upgraded and redecorated which would make the whole stay really good as they are very outdated but most importantly they are clean. We like this place and have been before and we will be back but would welcome the rooms having new decoration. Everything else is great.
