St. Pancras Renaissance Hotel London

Our room was not ready at check in time and we decided to have a late lunch while waiting for the room to be ready. At reception I was told someone would call me on my mobile when the room was ready. No one called. The lunch service was poor.I ordered a crab risotto and green salad. The salad did not come and I had to ask for it again. It arrived just as I was finishing my main meal. Staff were not attentive. When we finally were given the key cards for our room - the key cards didn't work . We went back to reception to complain. We had been given there wrong key cards. We were staying overnight before our euro star journey next day and reception said " oh , you are staying 4 nights." No- we were staying one night and had prepaid the room. I said I was very disappointed at the service we were receiving and we were told we would be upgraded and given cards for the club room . The club room facilities were frankly very disappointing compared to other hotels we have stayed in . Although the location is fantastic for Eurostar, I would not stay here again due to the poor service in the restaurant and at reception check -in. Some staff training is required . Not great value for money either.

A great experience from start to finish. An utterly fantastic job done on St Pancras Station is carried into this amazing hotel. We "only" had the entry-level room and were aware it would not be facing anything that pretty, however, it was very comfortable and well equipped. To be honest we spent more time in the amazing bar, spa and breakfast area to be worried about the size of the window. If I could mention one thing it might be at check-in to explain any upgrade offers as I got the impression we were allocated on arrival and not at the time of booking. Great breakfast. thanks.

Treated my lovely wife to a night of luxury which she has always wanted to stay there it lived up to our expectations. stunning interior. nit cheap but what an experience

I have been to this hotel 3 times now over the course of 3 years. the hotel has lost some of its shine in terms of the rooms. a little worn is some areas and the decor of rooms are in need orf modernisation . saying that the location is great. the building is grand and service is good. although the night shift front desk could be a bit better regards to greeting and making guests feel welcomed at the check in process in which they obviously have IT issues which prolonged the process as unable to find the hotels.com booking and attempted to nake me pay by card again despite me informing I already pre-paid. room service was great and professional and friendly so I tipped . food was of good standard considering the time I ordered. overall happy. but for the price it just feels like something is missing and the night club atmosphere really doesn't match the grand building and history. bit of a identity crisis.

They put us in a room next to a wedding reception where the DJ played loud music until midnight
