Duque Hotel Boutique & Spa

Such a quaint boutique hotel! I love that it provides a little spa (hottub, steam room, high pressure shower. Andreas gave me a great massage. Our room was very clean and plenty spacious for our needs. The little continental breakfast buffet put all others I've had to shame! And the sweet one in charge of the buffet was an absolute ray of sunshine. Everyone at reception during our stay was very friendly and helpful. Carla even showed great hospitality to our friends who came to meet us before we even got there.

We stayed at Duque Hotel on either end of a trip to Iguazu. Our room was spacious, comfortable and there were blackout shutters which could be closed. AC unit kept the room at a comfortable temp. Sleep quality was good overall, except for a few barking dogs. Breakfast was included and offered many pastries and fruits. Eggs could be made to order. There was a selection of juices and tea or coffee. I found the espresso tasted burnt so I opted for coffee with milk. Not much better. Had water instead. Bathroom was well appointed - squeeze bottles of soap, body wash, shampoo and conditioner. Followed eco-responsible policies with towels, which we like. Front desk was very helpful and very glad to make either transfer plans for you or give you tips on local sights or restaurants. Despite the hype and long lead time for reservations, try Don Julio's for dinner. Be prepared to show up before the 7pm opening time and wait in line for a sidewalk table. You may be rewarded with a glass of champagne while you wait and will definitely enjoy a great meal for the effort. Meat portions are large. We shared and were not disappointed. Botanical Gardens worth a visit - check as they have a night program which should be lovely. Great selection of plants from around the globe. Quiet paths and some benches for seating - not the most comfortable, but ok. Big plus for us was that Duque held onto our extra luggage while we traveled to Iguazu - no fee! We recommend Duque for your visit to BA.

This hotel is just amazing, everyone one of the hotel staff are super friendly and go above and beyond to make your stay as comfortable and as pleasant as possible.

Very accommodating staff. Great part of town. Near parks, excellent restaurants (Don Julio), funky neighborhoods. 1 night the AC was weak.

Great location/neighborhood, public areas have an intimate, luxury feel. Staff excellent and friendly. Cable TV should have some foreign language channels such as CNN for English speakers. Rooms need refreshed decor and amenities.

We spent our first night here after the long flight from Europe. The welcome was very friendly, and we were offered breakfast as we'd arrived so early. The room was very comfortable, and the pool was lovely on a hot day. In a great area too with lots of restaurants and bars close by. Would stay again.
