Citadines Arnulfpark Munich

Overall a good comfortable stay and hotel was pretty accessible to the main station on the tram, We never had to use a taxi in Munich :) Front desk staff are responsive. Housekeeping supervisor is a bit rude and harsh and she doesnt know how to behave with the customers. She thinks she owns the hotel. Housekeeping lady never knocked the door before entering and always entered the room without notice and made us uncomfortable. I found few times someone had come into the room as the closed window doors were open (not sure who was that and why did they enter) - luckily I didnt lose anything - this has to be taken seriously. When they have conveyed room cleaning is not included in the package - no one has any business in entering the room without permission.

Great hotel for a family stay. Love everything about it!

Why did we have to take out our own trash? I would think housekeeping could do those duties. It's not a cheap hotel.

A great place in a great location. Traveling with our 2 18 year old daughters and this was perfect for us. They slept on the fold out couch and we had the bedroom. No problem getting ready in the morning with a separate toilet area and shower. The tram was located right outside the building and each day we hopped on it for a 10 minute ride to Old Town. The main train station was 5 minutes away on the tram and very convenient for when we arrived and left. The staff was very helpful and our girls loved going down to the lobby at night, making themselves a coffee or hot chocolate and hanging out in the comfy chairs watching people walk by and just chatting. Our room had a kitchenette with all the essentials you would need. We would defiantly stay there again.

We were very satisfied with our stay at Citadines. We got the S1 train from the airport to Hackebrucke and the hotel is a 5-10 minute walk. Check-in seemed to take seconds. We had a 2 room apartment as there were 3 of us. The room had a microwave, kettle, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, cutlery, crockery etc. The hotel is on a main road/junction and is very noisy when the windows are open. We had 1 bottle of water between us for our whole stay (5 days). The room and towels/bedding weren't cleaned or changed during our stay. There is free hot drinks in reception which is nice after a day shopping/sightseeing. A tram stop is right outside the hotel and the city is 4 stops away. The hotel sell tickets. We bought an all day group ticket, which lasts till 6am, and cost 12.80. You can also buy 3 or 5 day tickets. There is a gym in the hotel. There are umbrellas in the foyer if needed. The staff were excellent and very informative. There's a couple of supermarkets within a 5 minute walk and a subway restaurant close by. We would stay at Citadines again.
