Hotel Unicus Krakow Old Town

Brilliant location, lovely staff, very comfortable, clean room. Would have liked maybe a couple of English speaking tv channels and had breakfast once which was nice but a bit too fancy and expensive, would have preferred Something more simple and cheaper

The location of this property is superb. Right on the main street next to the old town square but 100m off the main road and quiet. The staff was very helpful arranging taxi, recommending restaurants for dinner, etc. I did not use the other hotel facilities due to lack of time. My two complaints: (1) The food was sub-par. I ate there once due to convenience, but ordered five courses and found all of the food to be mediocre at best. The drink selection was good. (2) There were a couple of drunken beggars outside once (walking in to use the ashtray in the front entry), drunk and one dressed as a nun (which was really odd), and were aggressive at one point. We were fine, but it was uncomfortable - they should have someone manning the door out front, or at least watching on camera to prevent such a situation. Overall, I loved the hotel and would definitely stay here again, but I would skip the hotel restaurant.

This property was in the best location in the entire city. Close to everything and was newly updated and clean. The only issue was with the double room it is a small size bed for 2, which we are used to, but in this room the bed is placed up against the wall so when traveling as a couple one of us had to crawl over the other to get out of bed which wasn´t the most comfortable at night. Otherwise everything was perfect.

great location right in the heart of old Krakow. Great shops and restaurant's nearby.

Firstly, it's a great location for visiting Old Town and only a very short walk to the towns main shopping mall. Our room was on the fourth, (top floor), and in the roof eves. Im 6'2 tall and struggled to use part of the room. Tiny bed and though advertised as having individually controlled air con, ìt only blew warm air. Our room was like a sauna and we had to have the window open, in a very noisy area. We requested a room change but it was refused. I wouldn't stay here again.

Great location - less than a 5 minute walk to the main square. Lots of nice restraunts and bars close by. Room lovely but lumpy uncomfortable pillows. Staff helpful and pleasant. Only 90PLN for airport transfer - hassle free. Would book again and highly recommend this hotel.
