River Hotel

Paid for a queen bed but was given a full. Regardless, bed was not that comfortable. Coffee machine on second floor was empty on Saturday morning which was Disappointing. Location was great. Will definitely try a different hotel in this area when in Chicago again.

The room was small but all you need to stay right downtown. Staff was very friendly and helpful!!

Surprised and so pleased. From check-in to check out everything was smooth. The room was stark clean; the housekeeping schedule was seemless, respectful & efficient; there was NO noise through the walls of neighboring rooms nor running pipes even though i know they were occupied-it was so peaceful; the bed was comfortable and room temp perfect w/a functioning thermostat! There was a microwave & refrigerator for my business lunch leftovers. Happy hour (mon-thurs) was a nice touch. Although a little longer by a 1/2hr would help for those of us getting out of meetings at 5pm. The location was prime. On the Riverwalk I could walk to most districts within minutes to any choice of activities and restaurants. My check-out even went smoothly. The in-room tv check-out wasnt functioning & I worried about the front desk line- there was none. I was in my cab to the airport w/in minutes. I will be staying there every trip to Chicago! Room was small but nice. It was clean, and we had a great view. The area is great and centrally located. The staff was nice and helpful.
