Summer in Dubrovnik
There are many nice things about this hotel. The staff was excellent. It is a resort, so no surprise that it is kind of far from the old city, which is the main draw of Dubrovnik. One complaint is that the temperature of the water in the shower was annoyingly variable. Not quite to the point of being unacceptable, just annoying.

We had a great stay over a long weekend. Relaxing at the hotel pool area in combination with shorter trips to the old down (city bus #6, with tickets bought at the hotel was handy) and the Lapad Beach area (we enjoyed the pedestrian path along the shoreline). If you are looking for local craft beer or local wine, we highly recommend Gastro Shop Pomalo in the nearby area, with friendly staff and great selections.

Beautiful Hotel with and excellent location on the Headland of Babun Kuk. Great staff and weel organised Hotel. We we cerrtainly return to either this Valamar Hotel or one of the adjacent Valamar hotels of which are all of the similar high quality.

Love the pool, love the food and the staff
The air conditioning was not working in my room but they were able to fix it right away as the technician corrected the problem. Now it is very comfortable

The best resort in Dubrovnik
The Valamar Lacroma Dubvronik Hotel was by far the best resort I have stayed in a long while. I can't find the words to fairly describe how great this property and it's people are. It is literally a 2 to 3 minute walk to the beaches as well as the #6 bus that takes you to the Old Town. They have bent over backwards to make every single person staying there as special as they can. When I had an issue with my flight ( of my own doing ) the concierge person ( I believe her name was Niclolina and I apologize if I got it wrong ) fixed my problem which she certainly was not required to do. The food was great and the bar drinks fantastic. My wife and I are planning to go back next year and will not even consider looking at another property. It is a 4 star resort that should be a 5 star
