A very clean though cheap and cheerful room
A very clean though cheap and cheerful with a serious case of water hammer. Bits of door furniture missing and a ware drone rail nearly falling off, it is in need of some renovations. I stayed here for two nights, used up the limited supply of shampoo and it was not replaced the on the second day. However, the room was large and the bed was comfortable. It is within walking distance to the city centre and Leith itself and also has a beautiful public green area just across the road.

Good beds and no slippers :(
The beds and facilities are alright, toothpaste and toothbrush are not free, and there are no slippers at all. Locks are not electronic and a physical key was given to unlock and lock the room.

Brian (not sure about the spelling) was the absolute best host possible. He was so kind to us upon check-in. He made sure we had everything we needed. He checked on us at breakfast. He offered us travel advice and allowed us to leave our car for the day, so we could catch a bus to Edinburgh. I would stay here again just because he was so amazing!!!! The room we stayed in was perfect for our needs and we didn't have to share a bathroom with anyone else, so that was an added bonus!

The hotel was great for what we needed. The only thing was that the cleaners had left our room unlocked after cleaning. Other than this, a great hotel.

Ok but not worth what we paid
We stayed in a family room which was located outside of the property facing the car park at the rear. The room was ok but it was too stuffy, no air. The room had no plug socket near the kettle and the only one I could find was behind the double bed. I had to put the kettle on the bed to boil it! It was not worth what we paid and quite disappointed!

Clean and cozy
The hotel was very clean and cozy, and the local area right around it was cute and well appointed with bakeries, shops, and a Tesco. Travel into the city center via bus was quick and easy. Nice big clean bathroom. Only complaint was that the beds were somewhat uncomfortable. Overall, the perfect place to stay for my friends' and I's visit.

Not very warm welcome, very “official “. We booked twin room, we get room with one double and four single beds! We feel like in hostel. Very noisy guests above our room and you could hear every step...Clean room and bathroom but that’s only positive thing.

Traveling around and didn’t know have far we would get each day came upon this place. They were very welcoming the room was just what we were looking for and very clean. Would recommend to anyone!
