A gorgeous hotel - our room had wooden beams across the ceiling and lovely furniture. However, despite requesting a 'real' double bed both on booking and on arrival, we were given two singles pushed together - the manager later told us that all the beds in the hotel are the same. Spent the whole weekend falling down the gap in the middle! We also left covered in bites - likely from mosquitos, as we killed a lot in the room. Breakfast was included, but basic. The location, however, is fantastic, so it's worth a stay if that's your priority.

Nice Boutique style hotel in the Dorsodouro area of Venice. Its a bit of a walk if you have cases (which we did) from the Bus/Train station but you can take the ATVO Vaporetto water bus which costs 8 Euro single ticket which is much easier and convenient. (There are a couple of stops not too far away.) Its a quirky hotel but we liked it and the Dorsodouro area was different from the central St Marks / Rialto which is packed with tourists in the summer. Just around the corner from the Peggy Guggenheim, it had decent sized bedroom, very comfortable bed and well equipped bathroom. It was also very quiet when we were going to bed. Breakfast was included and had everything you would expect. We were only staying for one night but would recommend.

It's so pleasant stay very quite palace to stay and also very accessible to the water BUS station in Salute.
