Duodo Palace Hotel

While checking out the staff was very rude and about water taxi that I had ordered (not through them). They just continued to tell me everything I had done wrong when actually I had booked my water taxi properly.

Wonderful location, close to San Marco. Excellent breakfast buffet.

Everything was great from location to space, very clean. Recommended if your visiting the city.

Interesting hotel in a very convenient location. Just a short walk to St. Mark's square. A boutique hotel, I am guessing typical of other Venetian hotels. Our bathroom did not have a shower screen or curtain which made for an interesting shower experience. The wi-fi did not work for the first 24 hrs we were there. Breakfast takes place in a small downstairs room that can feel quite small. Food was tasty with a good selection. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Our room was was very dark. No natural light with a very weird format. Wasn’t a place that you could just relax in, rather dreary. Clean place to sleep but we didn’t spend too much time in the hotel apart from that. The location of the hotel is quite a trek from the train station and an expensive water taxi from the airport.
