Albergo Commercio e Pellegrino

In my check in, the front desk told me that i have made a reservation for 2 rooms. Tried to explain that we are one one couple and of . course we didn't make two reservation. Nothing helped me. I paid it for all my reservation for the room in advance because the front desk demanded of me. More than this, they demanded me to pay for the first night for the second room that i didn't make the reservation. Addressing the problem was aggressive and disrespectful. I paid even though I wasn't supposed to, so as not to spoil our vacation. The room is for the back of the building in the first floor. The window of the room is one floor from the kitchen from the another hotel. Very noise early in the morning and the smell no very good.

The staff is terrific, friendly, and helpful. The location is great with only a short walk to the water taxi stand and San Marco Piazza. I would stay here again.

This is a cute local hotel, and not the Grand Hyatt. But, fellow travelers, who sits around their hotel room in Venice?! It’s not luxury, but the room is clean and big enough for comfort, the staff very friendly, and the location is the best. You could stumble off the boat and land in the hotel, and it is literally around the corner from St. Mark’s Square. It’s a safe, convenient and comfortable place to keep your things and sleep. They provide basic breakfast, and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. I plan to stay there again when I visit next year.

The furnishings are fairly dated. The twin beds are a little firm and seem small. Minimal amenities in the room.

Was a great little hotel. Had all amenities. Close to every where we wanted to see. Great staff. We thought the AC didnt work, turns out it was cause we had the window opened. Had little extras in the rooms - sewing kit, files, toiletries. Was inexpensive.
