Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Chambersburg, PA

The ladies working the evening of our stay, 10/10/19 were WONDRERFUL!! They were so accommodating and helpful! They made our stay very very nice!

It appears that they were under staffed. Room wasn't serviced after the first night, and we didn't see any hotel maids. There was no breakfast, but on the second morning they had bagged breakfasts but no one notified the guest that they were available.

The strong smell of cleaning products was overwhelming. It bothered my nose and throat. The carpet looked stained and dirty fingerprints on door made me cringe.

It was clean and comfortable but the walls are thin and a full room of young adults was put next to us (not sure why because the hotel was NOT crowded). Of course we were woke up several times during the night because of screaming and loud conversations in the next room. It could have been avoided if the hotel had taken common sense measures to spread out the guests a little better

The room was nice and clean. A little out dated but worth the stay. Great location with plenty of places to eat near by.

15 mins to ck, in trainee clerk no password had to find her supervisor( we were the only cust.Got room keys did not work,while waiting for clerk to re-program key maintenance people came by said they needed to get their ladder, caulk ,and pictures they taken down.Got in room,called ref. door would not close,called desk they said they could do nothing ,2hrs later they offered to move us,we had unpacked settled in chose to not move.said they would fix next day.Fair room service,never made beds in 3 days day number 2 noooo room service at all,had to get everything ourselves,Poor desigined shower floor,used the old towels to make a dam in our (not asked for) handicapped bath shower.Manager promised to repair the ref door for 3 days.Friday night the room above us near by filled a (sounded like a hot tub)or a noisey jetted tub about 6 times and ran it for about 2 hrs. sounded like a fire truck.Friday night someone tracked watewr from the pool area Manager placed a yellow sign in the area,never mopped the water up,made 3 trips outside never mopped water. Stains and water spots were there the next morning check out.Manager told me no printer working,if I would leave email address they would send a copy to me it is thursday and not received yet. Cust.Service at its Best. I will not make the same mistake again,Never will I stay at a Country Inns &Suites.

Our stay was very nice. Nothing extaordinay sticks out but the rooms were comfortable and clean. Since a continental breakfast buffet was unavailable with COVID, the hotel did offer breakfast bags which was a nice touch. Pool and hot tub are open from 6 am until midnight which was a nice perk.
