Underwhelming hotel
I was disappointed by the hotel - it is old fashioned and dated, and it really doesn't live up to the description on their website: "Completely renovated, the Astura Palace, welcomes you in its elegant hall in a warm atmosphere with friendly and efficient service."

This hotel is in a great location for Nettuno, but sadly the hotel is a little dated. The rooms are comfortable and basic, but more like a 2* or 3* property - definitely nowhere close to a 4* they claim to be. The hotel feels stuck in the past, and could do with updating to bring it in line with other more modern hotels.

Very nicely located hotel. Right in front of a beautiful beach. Room was clean, breakfast was super (outstanding bakery, coffee and cakes). Perfect to spend a couple of days on the sea. Outstanding service. Receptionist Jacqueline was very helpful providing advice on local amenities, helping to organize transportation.

For British standards I would say it was more 3 Star than 4, however in Italy this is what I would expect. There were very few members of staff around but they were all fairly friendly. It was very peaceful and clean, which was a big plus and the breakfast buffet was very fresh. Overall it was a very nice place to stay in the enchanting little town of Nettuno

The trip was to play in a world baseball ⚾️ tournament for boys 14-15. The hotel was great! Thank you for the best accommodations! It was so nice to return to a clean & cool room!

The Astura is a nice hotel overlooking the marina with a side view to the beach. Lots of good restaurants are nearby. The staff is great and helpful. The rooms are as shown in the pictures and very clean. . Breakfast is fine and in a sunny room overlooking the sea. The only con is parking. The websites all say there is free parking BUT this means that there are 5 spaces for the whole 6 story hotel on the public street and anyone can park there. I never got one of these spaces and spent 40 minutes on a Friday night searching for parking. If you have a car, you may wish to stay else where. If you aren't driving, I highly recommend the Astura. NOTE: if you do drive, the hotel is on a one way street. Other than the 5 spaces, all the public streets are pay parking at 1 euro an hour from 9am to 1pm and 4pm to midnight. There is a free lot though. If you drive past the hotel, take the first right and the immediate next right and then right away turn into a small one aisle parking lot. If you are lucky enough to find a space here, its free parking all day.
