We have stayed at the Mary Prentiss Inn before and have loved it. It’s very homey and cozy and clean and everyone is friendly. Covid has made things a little different but the staff is still very nice and accommodating and they are taking every precaution to make sure everyone stays safe.

I loved the location of this property. The neighborhood was clean and quiet and just a 20 minute walk to Harvard Square. The underground parking was also great! The house was so charming with a beautiful outdoor area and lovely indoor breakfast nook. We will definitely return.

Very nice Inn- Bed and Breakfast
They Inn was as very nice. Our room was very clean. We were surprised / impressed with the little kitchenette. There were plenty of snacks waiting for us. There was free underground parking. It did require a lot of manuvering to get into the parking spaces due to space constraint but we managed. There was a free breakfast. We appreciated the help of the check-in person who carried our luggage up the stairs. There is no elevator. Overall the Inn is a good place to stay and the price was very reasonable. We would stay here again.

We had a very nice New Years Eve stay at the Mary Prentiss Inn. We wanted to stay in Cambridge, within walking distance of Club Passim in Harvard Square, for a New Years Eve performance. The room was beautiful and we had an excellent Breakfast the next morning. It was nice to have the parking below the building. Tea & cookies when we arrived were nice. Our only minor problem was coming back after the external doors were locked, both of our external door keys (locked after 10 PM) would not work on either the front door or the door from the parking area, But, we called the help number on the front door and were directed to the back door on the deck and the keys worked there. So we got in with minor inconvenience. And when we checked our, they were removing those keys from the rings. Highly recommend this B&B!

A beautiful historic property with unique amenities for the greater Boston area (like free onsite parking!) This room could have easily been priced double what we paid for the experience we had here and it would have still been a steal. Close walk to Porter square station, right off of Mass Ave so very convenient to restaurants and shopping. Breakfast provided was a tasty full hot breakfast cooked to order, and there is tea time in the afternoon with homemade cookies. This is a seriously homey and cozy B&B that we will definitely be coming back to!
