Hotel Haberstock

My first two rooms had broken pipes and were flooding. No one seemed to care. Finally got a 3rd room. The rooms were on a rowdy late-night street with an all-night strip club and bar across from the room. Little sleep was had. Don't believe the pictures. Don't stay here. You've been warned.

Great location, good enough room. No individual temperature control in room, controlled by hotel. Also, location of my room was next to apartment or another hotel with a balcony where people were talking loudly late into the night. For the first 2 nights I had a fan as a white noise to drown it out. Once the temperature outside got cooler hotel removed the fan. I called down to the desk to try to get it back and explained to them the situation, but they said they couldn’t because the service staff had it and that it was too cold to be using the fan. I pressed them on it and they told me they would bring the next day, but never did. Was 2 more nights of trying to sleep with the talking across the way. On the whole, hotel was fine for what I needed and reasonably priced for an Oktoberfest weekend, just location of my room in particular was not good. If I had a different room, may have been better.

Crazy street but good sound proofing and shutters. Nice breakfast, friendly staff and a.great location for walking the city and transport connections.

Bed condition pretty bad. Mattress sagging. Gave me backache. No tea/coffee making facilities. Checked in at close to mid night after a long flight. To my utter disappointment, could not get coffee/tea. Spoke to manager. He said they don’t provide tea/coffee making facilities. That meant we remained without a coffee until the time we went for breakfast. We had to buy a kettle and tea/coffee/milk by ourselves. Have never seen a hotel these days where these basic facilities are not available.
