Hotel Ansgar

The hotel was very nice. The breakfast was very good with fresh bread, fruits, cheeses, eggs, coffee, delicious. The Ansgar staff are very professional and friendly. I highly recommend

Location is great, right by the train station. Check in was a breeze and staff was very helpful. I found it odd that the elevator dropped you off on the half floors. The rooms were pretty dang small but the beds were super comfy!

A great, friendly and very well located hotel with a fabulous breakfast for a small additional charge over the room rate. It's located within a block of the central train station which puts it two blocks from Tivoli Gardens which is on the other side of the station. The room was clean, the internet fast and the staff very friendly and helpful. They have a small bar next to the desk, loaner electrical adaptors and the best hotel breakfast I've ever had. It's a huge buffet with something for everyone and a very nice dining room or, if the weather is good a covered area in the rear courtyard. Very highly recommended.

Hotel interior was clean and modern with large room & ensuite bathroom but next door & surrounding area was a construction site & the street closed at one end. The location very convenient for central railway station & attractions but a bit grubby with lots of graffiti. Breakfast was good with lots of choices. First night (wed) must have been bin night at 3am several large bins were rumbled noisily across the courtyard! On arrival the young female receptionist was unfriendly almost to the point of rude. We never saw her again..the older female we saw after that was not particularly friendly either. The breakfast staff were nice. All hotels in Copenhagen expensive so this one was comparitively good value for money. Nice courtyard out the back.
