Carlyle Brera Hotel

The first thing we were surprised with was how well situated the hotel was, excellent location to restaurants, bars and metro stations. We could be anywhere in Milan in 10-15mins so very convienient. The room was very clean and spacious so no problems there whatsoever, and the maids were very polite. Staff were friendly and attentive to our needs, especially Trina as she was happy to help us with printing our boarding passes and arranging a takeaway early morning breakfast for us so a special thanks goes to her!

The hotel was excellent! The location was great, very central and close to many restaurants and shopping. The room was comfortable, spacious and clean. The cleaning crew did a great job with the daily cleaning. Lastly, the breakfast was delicious and the restaurant stuff went above and beyond to make sure my 3 small children were comfortable during breakfast. Great place and highly recommended!

Location was good. Walkable to some attractions. The room floor was very old and the room facing street was a bit noisy even on higher floor. Use the kettle and it tripped the whole room electricity. The bathroom needed more renovation.

Pros: The breakfast was good and didn’t feel rushed if coming in towards the end of the breakfast period like you sometimes do in a hotel. The room was quite nice and spacious. Cons: The check in staff were friendly but not the most helpful. My phone was stolen on the Metro on the way to the hotel and the staff just said the police station was 2 streets down but showed no further concern or offer to assist. We found the previous guest’s underwear on the chair in the room which was rather unpleasant. The room was also incredibly noisy even on the 5th floor. The windows did nothing at all to block out the street noise.

In milan for an evening, hotel was perfect. Nice staff, and Location is the best in the heart of Brera and next to the metro. The room is small but fine for a solo traveller and super clean and cozy, and the bed was comfy. i left so early that breakfast was not available but i hear it's very good. they had american coffee available as it was so early. It was a nice gesture. it's relatively good value. I might even stay there again on my next trip.

The reception staff were absolutely fabulous in making me feel welcome and went out of their way to accommodate me. All the other staff are friendly and greet you with a smile on their face. Thanks foe the great service!

Single Room Small. Bed hard. Bathroom - bit tired. No real complaints - but not really as good as should have been for price paid.

Nice Hotel, good place

We had a wonderful time in Milan and the folks at the Carlyle Brera we second to none. They were friendly and very helpful from the very beginning but amped it up when we had trouble with our rental car. Obviously, our car rental issues had nothing to do with them but they helped us nevertheless. I highly recommend this hotel.
