The Embassy Row Hotel

I am very comfortable at Embassy Row, always. The staff is great, location is great, convenience of restaurant there on premises, love it! I would love to figure out the HVAC. The heating/cooling units in some rooms are so loud, they sometimes wake you up at night. This time, there was a washcloth shortage, so I had to hunt down housekeeping a few times to get some. The room was clean, but it’s time to wash the throw pillows on the beds. I didn’t even want them on my sheets - as they were soiled and filthy looking. People there are really nice and accommodating.

Everything was excellent. They even upgraded me to a room with a view!

I only have good things to say about my stay. The location is great - right next to the Metro, as well as all Dupont Circle has to offer. The hotel itself has been very recently updated, and is chic and modern. One could easily think it was a member of the Kimpton or W family of hotels. Service at the front test was prompt and friendly. The lobby is extremely welcoming, with a versatile space that is a coffee bar by day and bar at night. My queen standard room was beautifully appointed and unlike some listings, was true to the photos posted in quality. I appreciated the comfortable bed and pillows. Drawer space is scarce, limited to 2 drawers in one of the two side tables, reflecting the fact that most people don't use them anyways. The desk that replaces a dresser is a large and comfortable workspace.

I got in late and Lyle Ochoa made sure I got to my room as soon as possible. He was very friendly. The Hotel was a walking distance to my event and he took time to show me the map of how to get there.

I've stayed there several times and the experience is always good
