Hotel Ampere

The hotel tries hard and has many attractive attributes but could do a little better to get a higher rating. Rooms are small. Can’t do much about that. Breakfast could be a little more varied from day to day and for the love of coffee, please get an automatic coffee machine. $6 extra for a cappuccino is not acceptable. Also when the housekeeper asked if I wanted service and I said yes, the look on her face told me that was not the answer she wanted. Was reflected in the tip I left her but Parisians in general don’t know how to hide their impatience or displeasure. There is a GREAT Italian restaurant across the street. There are great boutiques a couple blocks away and a happening bar/restaurant two doors down. Metro is very convenient in end of corner and it’s an upscale, nice, and safe neighborhood. There is no gym and really not much of a comfortable area to rest outside of the small room. So it is definitely a hotel which caters to one being busy outside the hotel all day. Beds and pillows are great. Instant coffee (which is quite good) is available in the room.

Great view to an affluent residential part of Paris

From the moment we arrived & until the time we left our every need was addressed with professionalism & courtesy. The hotel is located in northern Paris approximately 3 miles from the Eiffel Tower surrounded by other luxurious hotels & an abundance of fine dining. This hotel was a beautiful find & if you’re looking for 5 star performance start here. The staff & rooms are something special & I highly recommend this hotel.

5th time staying here and would return again. However this is the first time we have had a room at the front of the hotel and it was quite noisy at night.

It was pretty risky to stay for 9 nights in the same hotel but it turned out our decision was right.Staffs were friendly and helpful and location was convinent.We will come back when we have chance to visit Paris again.

Great place to stay! The staff was super friendly and helpful as soon as we arrived, the rooms were clean and had everything we needed. Great location and walkable to the train with restaurants nearby. Would recommend to anyone looking to stay in Paris. Thank you!

It's the little things that matter, from wash clothes to daily bottled water complimentary refills. If the hotel lacks other amedities they should provide what is already provided else where with the same price for the stay, if not cheaper at well-known hotels. Now the extra. I really liked that they had a bathtub and a shower. It was a nice touch with the shower gowns and slips for two. Location is decent from all location, so long as you know how to ride the local public transportation, since that was also another good thing with the metro and bus stops being close by.
