Immaculate designed hotel. Luxury on the slightly cramped end of the scale, but ok for central London.Great breakfast and atmospheric bar

Being that this was our second visit and we opted for a larger room I would have thought the shower would have been larger.It was just large enough to turn around in and if you are claustrophobic forget it. Also the tea and the coffee needs to be improved it was HORRIBLE all days.Also I could hear the person below us snoring all night it was so loud it woke me up every night.ugh

Although the hotel was booked and paid for under my name, after providing the hotel with my partners name on arrival as a courtesy, we received a printed letter from housekeeping after returning from dinner that was addressed to my partner specifically (consciously omitting my name), letting him know that they missed us and were unable to clean the room— keeping in mind that before they knew I had a male guest with me, the letters were all addressed to me (female). I spoke to the front desk courteously about this issue and let them know I was disappointed, however as I was explaining why this kind of behaviour was upsetting, the lady at the front desk seemed amused by the whole situation. It’s 2019, my partner does not speak for me. Please get with the times. This was a return stay but will not be staying here again in the future.
