Beaufort Hotel

A small but extremely comfortable and welcoming Hotel. In a very quiet but convenient location. Nothing was too much troubleThey even gave us a cream tea when we called back to collect our luggage, at no extra cost and bottled water for our journey. Excellent service in this friendly popular Boutique Hotel.

Room was nicely appointed and clean but rather dark as it was in the basement with the only view of a drainpipe and the window into the breakfast room. For a one night stay it was perfectly fine as it was quiet. The availability of water/tea and coffee at any time is a nice touch. Sorry I didn't get to sample the cream tea and scones as there was a meeting going on in the breakfast room during the appointed tea time.

Run down, room stank of smoke and v small bed

Excellent location and exceptionally clean; comfortable bed and good pillows. Bathroom is tiny, but acceptable for a single room. Reception seems to be suspicious of their guests. I left the hotel for breakfast and reception came bolting after me to remind me that I have not yet paid my bill. That was 9 am. Latest check out is 11:30, but otherwise helpful enough.

I was delighted in every way by the facilities and staff at the hotel. Location was outstanding. Service tremendous.
