La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Fort Myers Central

Absolutely disgusting hotel. I was so disappointed with this. It is not in the best neighborhood either. The shower faucet was falling off the wall. Just pay more stay ANYWHERE else. There also is no breakfast to go at all which of course with covid I would at least expect that. I stayed at several other hotels during this past year and they had bags to go. I could hear guests yelling, dog barking in a room near mine just all around awful!

I will be looking for LaQuinta's more often

This was a terrible experience for a La Quinta, I am amazed they can keep the brand. Outside of the building is shabby at best. A lot of fading and chipped paint. Entering the room, it smelled like stale smoke, there were stains on the ceiling, part of the popcorn ceiling was coming down, the floors were sticky, the bed spread had stains, and the coffee pot was broken

no bathroom in the lobby.dirty room bread crumbs, it was clean later on.overall good hotel for the right price.

Price was good for us since we stayed one night. We just needed a place to sleep.

Terrible. I was given a smoking room. Then after I asked to for a non smoking room, the other room have a person on it. So when I entered the room that persom and I where in shock.

Arrived at the hotel and the front desk clerk was very friendly. I was apprehensive about the facilities when it looked more like a motel. We got to the room and it was okay but not as clean as I thought it should be. We were awakened by lots of noise in the parking lot and loud vehicles going in/out and because the rooms are on outside of building we heard everything. It was a great price but if you were looking for plush accommodations this was not it.

What you see online is not what you get. This is nothing like the others. They are not big on cleaning at all. I was moved 5 times because none of the rooms they give me were cleaned. In the first room the bathroom toliet was broken and the shower wasn't clean. Second, the person checked out and no one never went to clean it. Third, the room smelled like mold and the bathroom ceiling was covered in mold. Fourth, the beds were made up with dirty sheets. Fifth, smelled like cigarettes and the sheet along with the sheet protector had dog hair.

I ENDED UP SLEEPING IN MY CAR with my wife. I made a reservation on Saturday 09/05 around 4 pm, after doing what I needed to do in Fort Myers, I received a call from the hotel Around 7:30 pm to let me know my reservation was canceled because the hotel was already booked. I got there around 8 pm, and I didn’t get anything else than “Sorry for the Inconvenience”. They charged my credit card and everything. It was labor day weekend, I tried to find other hotels in the area and everything was totally booked. The irresponsibility of the staff in this hotel is extreme, once again I ENDED UP SLEEPING IN MY CAR because of such irresponsibility. Things like this should never happen in 2020 when everything is in a system, reservation is made, room is unavailable (period). If system shows room is available, then is available. I’ve never had an experience like this one with a hotel, here in the USA or other places I’ve been abroad. Even when something comes uo, I’ve seen the effort from the staff to help me in any way possible, and so far always something is done to remedy the inconvenience, NOT IN THIS CASE. NEVER TRY TO BOOK IN THIS HOTEL UNLESS YOU ARE READY & WILLING TO SLEEP IN YOUR CAR.
