Courtyard by Marriott Richmond West

When we first checked in, the woman with pink eyebrows at the front desk wasn’t rude- but was kind of cold and short. You could just tell she did not want to be there- kind of unpleasant. Every other staff member we dealt with was super nice and welcoming though. The room was clean and just how I expected it to be. Everything was nice and comfortable, the only thing was a stain on the floor. But that’s it. No big complaints. I would definitely stay here again. 7.5/10

I had some friends visit from out of town. I insisted they stay the night to catch up on old times. I booked them a room I felt would be comfortable. It was not disappointing. They enjoyed their stay ( even with the limited amenities ) it was a stay worth repeating. It is important to feel safe in these times and to keep those close to you safe. The changes the hotel has adopted to keep its guests safe are noticeable and greatly appreciated.

Clean but doesn't serve breakfast nor the pool is open

Service at front desk could have been more friendly. Grass needs to be cut- very overgrown, disappointed the pool was not open. Trash in floor of elevator and carpet was ripped up in the room by door.

The hotel was in much need of renovation inside and out. Landscaping was sparse, the buildings colors were not welcoming, and the rooms were old and tired. I was not comfortable going out to my car after dark because the lighting was not good and the hotel was next to warehouses. On the good side, the room was clean and the staff was courteous and helpful.

They gave me the wrong room at check in but were able to fix it right away

Fast and friendly check in by Regina. Comfortable, quiet room. Would definitely stay again!
