The INN at Gig Harbor

Stay was great and so were the people.

Pleasant stay as always. Helpful staff. Clean room. Grab and go breakfast was good.

Great people. Older property. It’s the only place in the area. Worth it.

This hotel allows pets and we listened to dogs barking and doors slamming throughout our entire stay. Fortunately it was only for one night.

Easy access to main road, quiet , clean, friendly

I do not recommend this hotel. Upon arrival we were informed that our King Suite was overbooked therefore our reservation couldn't be honored. We werent offered any solutions and scrambling to try and find a room on Halloween weekend. We were able to have the room we reserved for the first two nights, which was not information offered us... and find another place for the 3rd night. The next morning when we went to talk to manager there were 2 guys in lobby experining a similar situation. They were on a business trip and were offered a 2 queen room instead of 2 rooms and ended up having to leave and book somewhere else last minute. Oh and all the manager had to offer was a 3rd night comped in the room that was not available when we checked in. But was now magically available! We had already booked something else having to do non refundable to find a hotel on a Halloween Saturday. We were told that Expedia is overselling rooms and "There is nothing we can do." And seems to be a trend. Our jet tub on /off switch broke Our view was a dumpster on one side and a roof on the other The room was decent and clean, but nothing special. I do not recommend staying at the Inn at Gig Harbor at all.

Nice hotel in quiet area, close to services. Would stay there again.

While trying to check in early (15 min.) I inquired to the front desk person regarding protocol for sanitation in the rooms under the current conditions. She didn't know and suggested I contact housekeeping? Mind you this was before checking in, which she would not allow till exactly 3 PM.

Very clean and nice

This property is very tired and in need of care and attention. Yes. While in the middle of a national pandemic there might be some excuses for some issues. But we’ve stayed in several other hotels in the northwest in the last few months. All of which chose other methods to deal with these times. In the elevator up to our we we find a notification that they have discontinued room make up service for patrons staying more than one night. But my room charge includes these basic services in the fees. Right? As soon as we checked into our room we Turned down the bed to find blood stained sheets. Unacceptable. Called the front desk to notify house keeping to come charge the bedding in front of me. Then noticed that the smoke/fire detector in the bedroom was covered in a plastic bag and therefore not working. Cutting back on some things are to be expected in these times. But basic standards and safety issues here were reduced to unsafe levels. There are not a lot of choices in Gig Harbor to stay. But I cannot recommend The INN even as a last resort.
