It's a very good one of what it is
Stayed there many times. It's old but clean, a fantastic location and a fair price. My bathtub drain was clogged which was annoying but I didn't bring it to the attention of the staff... I'm sure it would have been fixed if I had. There is always coffee available in the lobby and it's actually very good. Nice perk. I'll be back.

Great stay!
We attended Chicago Architecture Center's Open House on Saturday (highly recommended!) and chose to stay at City Suites Hotel because of it's close location to our son's apartment. Although old - the floor in our suite had an obvious slope to it - this hotel is charming, the suite layout and two TV's were very much appreciated, our check-in/out was extremely easy, the location is fantastic and the staff was extremely friendly.

Reasonable and more than adequate.
City Suites is a smaller boutique city hotel that has a great location for me and a pleasant and helpful staff. The breakfast is adequate but don't expect eggs, fresh cooked waffles and bacon. No one could compete with Ann Sather down the street. More than likely your view from your window will be a brick wall but at least street noise is minimal.
