Hampton Inn Decatur/Forsyth

Stay was good. Could have been better, but housekeeper never cleaned our room even after requesting it. There was confusion with my reservation and I had to pay for one night twice.

We booked an accessible room. In one place, the accessible description included a roll-in shower, but in another it was a step-in tub. I was fine with having a tub, but a single vertical grab-bar didn't really do much for confidence. The bathroom sink was nearly chest height, certainly too high for a chair user. Probably explains why the wheelchair couldn't fit through the door. These things are disappointing, and really not what I consider accessible. Now, the room description definitely says there's a fridge in the room. Nope. Nada. This just happened to be a trip where we were needing the fridge. The room was nice enough. Clean, comfortable and in good condition. However, considering it was not really what we needed or expected, I have to say the overall experience was less than stellar.

The desk attendant was super nice, the bed was very comfortable and the toiletries were good quality. The bathroom could’ve been a little cleaner though.

The hotel staff was courteous and helpful. The room was clean and pleasant. It was a quiet place to stay and rest. Both staff and customers wore masks, which was reassuring that health and safety were deemed important. I would give the hotel highly.

Rooms were clean. However; there wasn't any refrigerator or microwave in room.

Was as expected for price. Downer though was no microwave

Woman at the desk was very nice. Drink was left in room fridge. Due to Covid, you can't eat downstairs but to go items were available (cereal, drinks, fruit, etc). Pretty good stay.

Everything and I mean everything was great about this property except the bed. It was just average!! Wasn’t so terrible that I couldn’t sleep but I may be use to my really comfortable bed at home.
