While me and my husband were there, the hot water was not working for two days. We were told that someone was working on fixing it, but it was never taken care of. Also, when we left one day to go on an excursion, we came back to see our door was left open. None of your valuables were missing. But the thought that one of the cleaning staff didn't have enough consideration to ensure our room was secure when (s)he left was irresponsible. And the same cleaning person turned on the air conditioning. We kept wondering why the room was cold when the temperature was 40 degrees outside. No one told him/her to touch anything.

The staff was wonderful and very accommodating and personable. The bed was incredibly comfortable. The room was nicer than most hotels I’ve stayed at and for a great price! The walk-in shower, pillow-top bed, and high ceilings make this more than just a hotel room. It get like a home away from home where I was able to get some work done!

Exceptional effort in difficult times.
The staff and the facility did a great job of overcoming the conditions brought by COVID-19. Given our age (75+) we had been concerned by the hazards resulting from a six days at a commercial establishment. The most important attribute of the stay was the safe haven offered to us. We felt comforted by the extraordinary efforts made to keep us away from possible sources of infection. On the other hand, every member of staff made exceptional efforts to meet any needs we had. We have stayed at The Centennial before and recommend it to our friends as The place to stay in Concord.
