The Elizabeth Hotel (SG Clean)

A little tired but a great stay great location as well

Our stay at this hotel was excellent. Reception was very good. Our room was upgraded to family room without extra money. Walking distance to the mall and train station.

Staff were friendly and very helpful. Provided very early access to my room and stored my bags in a cool area as I was carrying perishable items.

Good location, clean and comfortable room, friendly staff. The internet is not satisfactory.

We were initially assigned to rm 712 which was not ready when we went up to settle in. The Cleaning lady overheard us looking for our assigned roomn, told us it wss not ready then told us to go down ourselves when we requested her to inform check in. Shouldn't it have been the other way around?

As a family with a young kid, we stayed here due to its excellent location near Orchard. This is the only plus and credit to this hotel. Other than this, I will not return to it again. The cleanliness of the room is lacking even though they make up daily and change towels daily. You may be sleeping on dirty mattress protector that is not washed or changed, as it happened to us! Yikes. I have photos to prove it. Complained to the staff and manager, and they were apologetic. What else can they do? There are lots they can do to make it a pleasant stay, cleanliness is one. Staff are too complacent in their service and attitude to hotel guests. Won't recommend it. Singapore is an excellent place to visit and have a fun filled holiday. But first, make sure you choose the right kind of accommodation. We got sick with the flu virus while staying in the hotel. Kid vomitted in bed. Husband was sick all that time. The room does not have windows that you can open, so bad ventilation. Has musky smell. There is window view only. We were there at the start of the novel coronavirus. Lucky Elizabeth Hospital was nearby and 5 minutes walk so we could see the medical team there.

Nice hotel grand entrance if a bit all fur coat and no knickers. Found check in was a bit impersonal but it was quick and easy. Room was fine quite spacious with a great bathroom. Housekeeping was top notch clean towels everyday with shampoo and shower gel included. The deal didn't include breakfast so cannot comment on that provision. Nice pool to cool off beside. Near most things you'll need in Singapore. Easy access to Orchard MRT which gets you anywhere in Singapore. On the whole a nice place to stay and considering the price of most things here a bit of a bargain.

The room was comfortable and housekeeping was great, but reception staff was a let down with minimal service provided. A little effort could make the stay more enjoyable and a shame reception is the first point of contact for most.
