Bad WiFi. Overpriced.
The WiFi was horrible. We chose this hotel because both my husband and I had work to do in between family visits. The WiFi kept cutting us off. We had to find alternative locations for the WiFi. Therefore I feel this hotel was way overpriced since we didn’t get what was promised in the advertisement.

The Lounge.
The best part of the stay at the Monarch is the lounge. Open late with great food. Bartenders are friendly and quick with your service. Hotel is older but kept up well. The only problem we had is with housekeeping. If you put the do not disturb sign out you don’t expect two knocks from housekeeping before 9 am. What part of DO NOT DISTURB is ambiguous?

Location in Clackamas is great. Property is run down and full of airline employees. Beds are comfortable.

Nice bed, horrible water pressure
Room was pleasant, had a nice view of the water feature outside. Jetted tub was cozy and enjoyable. Only real issue worth mentioning was the non existent water pressure in the shower. It was a little more than a trickle and even adjusting the head dial didn't produce any improvement. Not the best way to start the day. We mentioned it to the front desk, hopefully it's an issue they can fix and not standard practice for the place.

Stay for great! Happy with everything, but the rooms are on the side of the freeways and highways, so very noisy.
